Pakistan have a psychological edge over India, says Imran

Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has tipped Pakistan team as favourite to win against the arch-rival India in the World Twenty20 match scheduled to be held at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on Saturday.
“Pakistan have a psychological edge over India this time,” he told ABP News after arriving in Kolkata Friday evening.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief said the high intensity match will be difficult for the both teams. “Pakistan-India match will be difficult for the two sides.”
The 1992 World Cup winning captain will also give a motivational lecture to the Men in Green ahead of the match. “I will suggest several things to Afridi when I meet him,” said Imran, adding that a captain should free players from fear of the high profile match.
Talking about the Indian team, Imran said MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli were such players who could perform in under pressure.

“Situation in a Twenty20 match changes after every two balls are bowled, the PTI leader said.
He went on to say, “If I were a captain in tomorrow’s match, I would never think about taking any pressure.”
Meanwhile, Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rasheed has also left for Kolkata to watch the most talked about Saturday’s match.
Earlier, Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi invited the 63-year-old along with legendary fast-bowler Wasim Akram to give motivational lectures to the team regarding how to deal with the pressure of a high voltage encounter.
The match was originally scheduled to be played at Dharamsala, which was later moved to Kolkata amid security threats at the first proposed venue.
